History

History: Angie’s was established in 1977 by Vito Spillone. Before starting Angie’s,
Vito had many years of experience in the restaurant business from owning a local 24hr
diner to several pizzerias. In 1977 he decided to start his own food distribution business
out of a small warehouse garage and a pick-up truck. He started by selling only 7 items
to a couple of local pizzerias.

Today, almost 35 years later the business is still owned by Vito and his family servicing
hundreds of customers with hundreds of different products daily. The company
distributes everything from meat, cheese, paper products, salad dressing, pasta, etc.
